The most widespread and accepted form of animal cruelty exists in the form of food that we eat. Billions of animals are murdered each year so that we can have a hamburger or chicken breast. These poor animals suffer a horrendous life and are killed for our gluttony.
Please visit ChooseVeg.com and other numerous sites on the Internet where you can learn about this cruelty. And please choose to eat compassionately. A whole-foods, vegan diet is the most healthful, compassionate choice there is.

Thanks, Tracy! Indeed, I am exploring those avenues as well. As the saying goes: Charité bien ordonnée commence par soi. I think it’s about time that I put my money where my mouth is.
