“Strong stomachs will be required over the next seven weeks as the political classes feed us a steady diet of nostalgia and hagiography,” writes David Wearing.
No, the World is definitely not a better place after the passage of Blair. [Stop the War Coalition link] As it turns out, he could have vetoed the Iraq war. He didn’t. Enough said!

I thought you would like that! lol!
I gather he had an “extreme make-over”, a “re-packaging” or just packaging! In this video about the Israel Lobby, Powell’s former assistant relates how in his mind, it was Powell that succeeded in selling the war to the American people. For me, it was Blair. I trusted the guy. So eloquent, so forceful, so sincere! Yecch! Today each time I think of him, I just want to barf! Lately, it looks like the ‘make-over’ is wearing off. The lower lip is protruding more; the look in his eyes has become haggard; and he seems to forget to comb the hair sometimes. He is slowly reverting to what he truly is, physically I mean. And it is just as in the picture above. Not pretty – neither inside nor outside!
