Even though Israel seems to have no intention of allowing humanitarian aid into Lebanon (see this link), and even though that in itself is a war crime (as is Israel’s constant targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure [children, hospitals, schools]), and in light of the fact that we as Lebanese are up against a state that condones and encourages war crimes, we have chosen not to give up hope, and to stand together in unity, as one people under one name, the Lebanese people.
